Partnership with Hapi
HotelKey partnered with Hapi to help properties connect essential data systems, improve mobile functionality, and reduce the friction often associated with changing or adopting a new property management system (PMS). By using Hapi's Integration Platform, HotelKey can now support real-time data streams that enhance guest services and mobile app features across a wide range of hotel types.

The need for partnership
As HotelKey gained traction with larger hotel groups and new markets, there was a growing need to connect its PMS with a broader ecosystem, especially for properties joining new brand portfolios or migrating from legacy PMS systems.
The initial push for integration came from the need to support a digital voucher program tied to on-property member benefits. From there, the partnership expanded to cover digital checkout, mobile app connectivity, and PMS migration support for newly acquired or transitioning properties.
The collaboration
With a certified integration to Hapi’s platform, HotelKey can now:
- Deliver guest and transaction data securely and in real-time.
- Support mobile-enabled features like digital check-out and F&B benefits.
- Speed up PMS migrations with tools to transfer guest folios and configuration data.
- Power self-service kiosks.
The collaboration has helped reduce operational complexity and allowed HotelKey’s clients to retain existing guest programs, even when switching to a new PMS. This has been especially valuable for branded hotels operating across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Because both Hapi and HotelKey are built on AWS infrastructure, there are additional efficiencies in deployment and scaling, further easing the integration process for hotel companies.
